What is the difference between manufactured homes and modular homes?
Manufactured homes, also known as mobile homes, are built in factories. A modular home is built in sections inside a factory. Both styles conform to the same federal code regardless of where they are delivered.
On the negative side of the prefab fence, there are those who believe they can never compare to traditional construction homes in style and structure. On the positive side, some homeowners feel that the savings in cost and energy are well worth it.
